Business Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Business Operations Manager will be a hands-on role requiring an individual with a strong background in business operations, business analysis, system implementation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in understanding end-to-end business requirements, driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and delivering scalable, collaborative and integrated solutions to help drive the next phase of the business’ growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that contribute to the overall success of the company
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance overall business operations efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their operational needs and provide support to achieve departmental targets
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of internal processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Develop and provide effective business solutions through research and analysis of data and current business processes, ability to roll up the sleeves and implement ideas into practice with speed in-mind
  • Propose and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency
  • Apply expertise and think creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine
  • Provide strategic consultation to internal customers in defining or designing data frameworks and key reporting outputs
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to derive meaningful insights
  • Capture Business Requirements across teams, and drive the selection, implementation, and optimization of new and existing business systems and technologies
  • Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure the seamless integration between different operational platforms
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute operational projects and ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Perform quality assurance checks on internal processes and systems
  • Lead and support change management initiatives within the organization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable services
  • In partnership with Training and Enablement, support the development of training materials and documentation for new processes and systems

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations management, or  related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success
  • Must have experience managing projects and operations in a SaaS environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions on Salesforce.com
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other software solutions
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in operations management
  • Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems while providing direction to others
  • Strong understanding of data structures
  • Strong work ethic, hands-on, with a customer service mentality
  • Integration experience with Hubspot, Gong, Gainsight, Zoom, Salesloft, and others
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
