Charlottetown, 1 May 2018 — iWave recently welcomed two new members to its board of directors. Both Cary Fulbright and Kevin Kern bring years of experience with technology companies and nonprofit organizations.
Thanks to innovative products, a dedicated team, and a focused commitment to clients, iWave is entering a period of exponential growth. Kevin and Cary joined the iWave team to help support the company’s next stage of evolution.
Cary is an expert in cloud software and CRM with leadership experience at Five9, SAP, and Salesforce.com. Reporting directly to CEO Marc Benioff, Cary helped take Salesforce public with one of the most successful IPOs of 2004. He established the company’s focus on small and mid-sized companies. Additionally, he integrated product, marketing, and sales efforts to grow revenue from $7M in 2000 to $160M in 2004.
Cary is passionate about building new markets, new products, and growing teams and organizations. Cary is also a lifelong volunteer. He has served in a variety of leadership roles on a number of nonprofit boards including the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the Arc San Francisco, the Bay School of San Francisco, and the Presidio YMCA.
A graduate of UC Berkeley, Kevin enjoyed an exciting career in a variety of leadership roles in the information technology sector. After excelling in sales and product roles with Oracle, Salesforce.com, and TIBCO Software, Kevin joined software-as-a-service firm Innotas as President and CEO for almost seven years. During his tenure, he achieved significant growth in revenue, bookings, and customer retention.
Kevin has consistently and effectively scaled departments and organizations. He has experience optimizing budgets, identifying opportunities for external growth, and developing teams and internal processes.
“Cary and Kevin embody the spirit of iWave and bring talent, expertise, and energy to the table,” said Ross Beattie, CEO. “They both understand our commitment to making great products and helping clients achieve success.”
