Profitable Partnerships: Creating and Expanding Your Corporate Giving Program

Recorded on: September 8, 2022

This motivating and interactive workshop focused on relationship building, corporate partnerships, event sponsorships, and strategic nonprofit marketing opportunities. During the session we discussed outreach and networking strategies and how to engage your entire organization in your efforts as well as developing volunteer roles to attract business leaders and young professionals. We also covered potential new sponsor identification, stewardship and relationship building for current partners and vendors and how to develop these relationships into meaningful long-term connections. Attendees learned about creating unique sponsorship opportunities and how to deliver on marketing through impact messaging. We reviewed a case study with MY TURN, Inc. Director of Finance & Development, Jocelyn Mahoney, to see the key elements of a sponsorship proposal. Attendees left inspired to implement dynamic and impactful steps towards developing deeper partnerships and relationships. These steps can also be shared with nonprofit team members and board/committee members involved in development activities.

The ideal audience for this workshop includes nonprofit board members, nonprofit leadership staff, marketing, fundraising and development staff members.
