Donor ratings are used by nonprofits to evaluate and categorize their donors based on giving history, level of engagement, and potential for future contributions. These ratings can be numerical or letter grades assigned to donors based on factors such as the frequency of donations, the longevity of the relationship with the organization and other demographic data.
