iWave Welcomes New Director of People and Culture.

Charlottetown, January 8, 2020 – iWave is excited to announce an addition to its executive team as we begin the new year. iWave welcomes Shawna Smith as the new Director of People and Culture. Shawna will be responsible for iWave’s human resources services for our growing team. The iWave team has had exponential growth over the past year, hiring 36 employees in the past year and moving into a new office space in downtown Charlottetown. 

Shawna is joining iWave with over 19 years of Human Resource experience gained from firms like HGS Canada and Advantage Communications in Charlottetown, PE and NAV Canada in Gander, NL.

“Shawna’s experience and skills cover the entire spectrum of HR services required in the workplace today,” says iWave CEO, Ross Beattie, “She is a terrific champion for iWave’s corporate culture”.

“I am excited to join the iWave team in this capacity,” says Shawna, new Director of People and Culture at iWave, “Being part of an organization with such a professional and positive culture is inspiring.” Shawna started her new role with iWave on January 2nd, 2020.
