iWave and Thomson Reuters Partner to Help Nonprofits

iWave and Thomson Reuters partner to help nonprofits

iWave Information Systems is launching a new, enhanced wealth database within their donor research and screening software, Prospect Research Online (PRO).  The wealth data is provided by Thomson Reuters, a leading and well recognized provider of individual and company wealth and insider transaction information.  The addition of Thomson Reuters will bring iWave clients more donor contact details, executive biographies, company information, cash compensation, and detailed insider trades share information, all of which will help them make a more timely and better educated major gift ask.

Since 2005 iWave has provided nonprofits with access to valuable wealth and insider transaction information.  But with major advancements to PRO in 2016 such as PROscore and PROscreen, there was a need and benefit to upgrade PRO’s wealth data for nonprofits.

As a donor research and screening provider for the nonprofit industry, iWave understands that access to up-to-date, quality data is integral to their clients’ fundraising success.  With the addition of Thomson Reuters, nonprofits will get relevant wealth information on their prospects when they need it most.

“Adding Thomson Reuters wealth data was something we knew our clients could benefit from,” said Gerry Lawless, President & CEO of iWave.  “Thomson Reuters is a well recognized brand in the nonprofit space and a data source that development professionals trust for quality and accuracy.  When we had the opportunity to upgrade our wealth data it was an easy decision.”

“We are extremely pleased to partner with iWave and see tremendous value in having our data enhance their solutions for the non-profit industry,” said Claudio Pascucci, Head of Commercial Management for Canada.

With access to Thomson Reuters within PRO, users will have the ability to:

  • Locate wealthy prospects and alumni in their area
  • Make a more timely ask by leveraging insider transactions and securities information
  • Make a more educated ask with access to biographical, compensation, and employment information
  • Stay up-to-date by setting alerts to notify them of wealth creating events for prospects or companies, such as stock disposal, company mergers, and job changes, as they occur.
  • Build a list of prospects based on job title, compensation, location, alma mater, etc.
