AFP Icon 2022 was ICONic!
From the moment we stepped into the MGM Grand Conference Center on Sunday for the conference registration, you could feel the energy in the room! We were so thrilled to be back in person with our wonderful clients, partners, and other industry professionals. It was truly incredible.
Some highlights for us?
- What an energizing and emotionally charged few days! From the reunion of friends to the making of new ones, AFP Icon 2022 was such an uplifting event. You could tell by the smiles on all of the faces that this conference was just what the industry needed after a couple of years of virtual events. A big thank you and congratulations to AFP Global for such a successful conference!
- Being at our booth in the energetic exhibitor hall and speaking to each of YOU who were there! Seeing those we knew, meeting new people, being introduced to organizations doing incredible work and learning from some of the very best in the industry still has us buzzing! We even had our mascot, Wally, with us onsite! Like many of us, he hadn’t been to an in-person conference since 2019!
- Joining sessions and learning from some of the brightest in the sector! We had a great time presenting our session, Donors Are Data, with iWave Senior Account Executive, Alex Quinn, and iWave Lead Fundraising Coach, T. Clay Buck! In case you missed it, we just recently announced our partnership with Clay and it was so exciting to share the stage at AFP Icon and talk about what we love most!
- The ICONic After Party! We were so excited to be the high-roller sponsor and even though we had a sneak peak into the planning, we were blown away by the execution, trendy venue and stunning views of Las Vegas! A shout out and thank you to the talented Catapult team on the ideation and execution of this amazing event!
- The opportunity to meet so many people at the AFP Icon Welcome Reception, and seeing our fellow Canadians at the AFP Canada Red & White Reception! There were so many opportunities to connect, discuss what we were experiencing and looking forward to, and make connections to help us continue to do the great work that empowers us!
- Sharing some of the latest news and product innovations from iWave and a sneak peek of what is to come! We loved seeing your eyes widen with excitement about our new Prospect Lists feature that will help rebuild your pipeline. If you haven’t heard about it, check out this blog about this exciting new feature coming soon!
We had the best time meeting you all, but if you didn’t make it to AFP Icon, we hope to connect with you at one of the many more conferences we will be at in-person and virtually in 2022!
We also have some exciting upcoming webinars, including “Money Mindset: overcoming limiting money beliefs to raise more money than you ever thought possible!” which was presented at the conference by Jenny Mitchell! We hope to see you there! The bonus? It’s worth a CFRE Point!
