To help support this growth, we are looking to add a QA Analyst to our team.

Position Summary:
As a key member of a highly collaborative team and growing company, this position is responsible for overall quality assurance of our products to ensure there are no defects. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the products have adequate testing coverage and the highest level of quality. This position supports engineering and data teams in ensuring product and data quality meets company standards.


  • Execute functional, and unit test cases with test environments with a high degree of accuracy, including manual end-to-end testing and automated testing within each sprint cycle.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports.
  • Report, record and manage defects and bugs in a timely manner, assessing their priority and severity.
  • Test and sign off on the correctness of new feature and data releases as well as bug fixes.
  • Write and maintain clear, precise bug reports to submit to our bug tracking system (Jira).
  • Write and maintain documentation on software features.
  • Contribute to the adoption and success of continuous integration, unit testing practices, and testing automation.
  • Participate in team planning activities and meetings such as scrum meetings, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, etc.
  • Perform all aspects of quality assurance during the sprint cycles, which also includes accessibility, browser, device, security, load and stress testing.
  • Accountable and self-organizing to ensure sprints and projects are completed on time.
  • Drive continuous improvements and standards for improving testing practices using lean/agile strategies.
  • Other duties as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or information technology.
  • 5+ years experience with web-based applications is self-motivated and highly productive.
  • Understanding of test methodologies: white box, black box, a/b, functional, automated, load, performance, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Familiar with the basics of HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how the modern web works would be an asset.
  • Experience testing web and database applications in an agile environment.
  • Strong aptitude and experience when it comes to learning new technologies and enjoys solving problems.
  • Extensive experience in all areas is not required, but a passion and self-motivation to learn new skills and technologies and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment is mandatory.
