Zoom Info is a subscription service that provides access to a database of over 48 million people and 5,085,444 companies. Customers search Zoom Info using a diverse range of criteria, such as job title, education, employment history, company name, location and company description.

Searches can be broad or narrow depending on the criteria users enter. Does someone need information on an individual in a hurry?
Use ZoomInfo to find the particular individual and select "Forward" and you can email the ZoomInfo profile to someone in your office immediately before that important meeting or event.
Always searching on the same companies? Same locations? Same industries?
Run a search with your minimum requirements for every search, and then save it by selecting "Add to Project". Once the search has been saved, simply select the Projects tab, and find your saved search.
Getting a vCard
When looking at a ZoomInfo personal profile, please note that you can export the individual's contact information to a Microsoft compatible V-Card file. The easiest way to save contact information is by using a vCard, the Internet standard for creating and sharing virtual business cards. Simply select "Download as vCard".
Building a new potential lead list in Zoom Info?
After you have your list come up from your specified search criteria, instead of clicking into each profile separately, you can just hover your mouse over each name, and get the details on the individuals.
Are you looking for someone that is a CEO, but has been a VP in the past?
Try entering "CEO" in the Title field and "VP" in the Credentials field. Searching for Credentials allows you to find any word or phrase that has appeared in a job title or position, current or past, even if the word or phrase is unconnected to the current company or industry in which the person works.
What does the "Last Mentioned" date refer to in ZoomInfo?
This is the most recent date that information was published on the web about the individual. You can edit the "Last Mentioned" date as you like by selecting "My Account", then "Preferences".
Work history
Use the Work History fields (found in the Work History section on the search form and Edit Filters on the search results page) to specify whether you want ZoomInfo to match a person's current or past positions. For example, if you are searching for a manager at IBM and select past only, your results will contain managers who have left IBM for new positions at other companies.
Company Name Aliases
ZoomInfo uses a technique called "aliasing" to match company names intelligently. For example, entering Federal Express will also return FedEx and entering International Business Machines will return IBM. To turn off this aliasing function, enter the company's name, abbreviation or acronym in quotation marks.
Wondering what websites ZoomInfo sources?
ZoomInfo only visits sites that their system has judged to have relevant, reliable content about people in business, which means that personal homepages and blogs are generally ignored. They will have trouble adding a name to their system unless they can find a name, a title and a company all on the same page.
ZoomInfo - Number of Employees
Target companies of an appropriate size by requiring the companies in the search results to have a certain number of employees. Select a minimum and/or maximum number of employees.
