This year's conference was called "Passport to Success", Celebrating 15 Years of Advancement Research, and was held in Irvine, California. The California Advancement Researchers Association is the largest single state chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), and international professional association of development research and information management professionals. CARA's mission is to serve development researchers by promoting and educating advancement professionals for the benefit of philanthropy. - This North Carolina conference was a comprehensive fundraising conference designed to address the specific fundraising needs and challenges of two-year institutions of higher education. Attending from iWave was North Carolina Account Manager, Carla Wood-Whitty. "It was fun to network with so many NC fundraisers at this event. The session we held really gave us the opportunity to educate these colleges about the online information that's available to them. To many it was a real eye opener!"
